A native of central Massachusetts, Tim Staney is a web applications developer who now calls St. Petersburg, Florida home. Staney has worked for large corporations—most notably Fidelity National Financial, Chicago Title, MicroGeneral Corporation, RealEC, LSI and Fidelity National Information Services' Office of the Enterprise—building database-driven web and rich-media applications on a variety of platforms.

Specializing in ASP.NET (C#) web development and new media Tim has completed projects for highly trafficked web sites like Crain Communications' AutoWeek and AutoNews, and Canada's largest online daily newspaper, Cyberpresse. Tim is also the principal of Smarter Web Design.

Staney is employed by AAMP of America Companies headquartered in Clearwater, Florida—the leading accessory provider to the 12-Volt audio industry—as Webmaster and eSolutions Architect serving the following brands: Peripheral Electronics, Stinger Electronics, Best Kits, iSimple Solutions, SoundQuest and Select Products.
