There's a cute song in the otherwise salty musical smash, 'Avenue Q' in which Kate Monster celebrates the joy that is receiving a "mix tape".
Kate Monster sings:
A mix tape.
He made a mix tape.
He was thinking of me,
Which shows he cares!
Sometimes when someone
Has a crush on you
They'll make you a mix tape
To give you a clue.
So this Valentine's Day, don't forget to tell that special someone that you care for chocolates, flowers, or even a "mix tape". iTunes subscribers can actually gift a playlist to their special someone. To do this:
To send an iTunes Gift:
- In iTunes, click iTunes Store in the Source list.
- Find a song, album, etc. that you want to give to someone.
- Click the arrow to the right of the Buy button; in the resulting menu, choose the Gift option.
- Once you've clicked Gift, you'll either be asked to sign in with your iTunes account name and password, or you'll see a "Give a Gift" page. You'll need to fill in your recipient's (and your) details, such as names, email addresses, and a personal message.
Happy Valentine's Day!
